The User Interface
This section describes how the user interacts with FreeHAL using its GUI.
The Talk Mode is only used to communicate with FreeHAL. No user entries are stored permanently.
In the Learn Mode one can, as the name suggests, teach FreeHAL new knowledge. All entries are processed and stored in the semantic web.
On the Chart Tab you can see all the answers that FreeHAL has found for a given question. These can be selected and then edited or deleted individually. "+" And "-" can be used to indicate whether the response matches the user input or not (see evaluation
).
The Database Tab is used for database management. It is possible to search for words and concepts in the database and edit or delete them (right-click on the word). There is an option to display duplicated database entries ("double facts"). If you have deleted many entries at once, we recommend that you rebuild the database.
